2026 Cheer Practice Schedule and Information

Registration
- Competition Cheer - 2/1/2026 through 3/31/2026
- Mascot Cheer - 2/1/2026 through 5/31/2026

Uniform Try On/Sizing (SignUp Genius will be posted at later date)
- April 17th (5PM - 7PM)
- May 18th (10AM - 1PM)

MANDATORY Concussion Testing Athletes 6-8 Grade
- Concussion test must be completed prior to first practice. More information and details to follow in future communications.

Summer Practice: June 10 to July 29, 2026. Practices will be held indoor (change from last year) at Lord and Savior Church!

Late Summer/Fall Practice: August 3rd to November 20, 2026. Indoor Facility is @ Lord and Savior Lutheran School (9300 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake, IL 60012) Practice days & times will be determined once registration closes and teams are set. Mascot practices once per week & competition teams practice twice per week.

Competitions & Games
- Three competition dates will be communicated once the program receives them.
- Weekend Football Games: Games are played on EITHER Saturday or Sunday EVERY weekend (First Games are the weekend of August 22, 2026). Teams may need to travel to nearby cities depending on the schedule. Game schedules are based off football schedules. Tackle games are typically announced a couple weeks in advance. Once tackle schedules are announced, coaches will notify squads ASAP of game assignments. Only Jr. Wolves uniforms and approved Spirit Wear are allowed to be worn at all games and events at coaches discretion.

Annual Sideouts Fundraiser/Party
- Sunday, September 6th at 7pm - (Parents Night Out) - Highly recommended to attend. This is a great opportunity to support the program, meet coaches and others, while enjoying some great entertainment. (music, rattles, etc...) This event is open to the public to support the Wolves.

End of Season
- Mascot season will end around the last weekend of October and competition cheer will end around the middle of November.
